💡 Grow Guide
Your easy path to bigger, better, and more flavour-packed harvests – whether you grow tomatoes, chillies or pineapples our organic super mixes are unique proprietary blends carefully curated in Scotland 🔬
✌️ Where do I start?
If you are starting with new living soil you should start using Master Starter 3 Weeks after transplant or 4 Weeks after starting from seed.
If you are starting with used living soil you must prime it with Master Starter and DankDust Respawn Recycler.
If you are starting with Coco, which is inert - you must prime it with DankDust Bio Boost and Master Starter.
💡 Step-by-Step
"Just Add Water" Living Soil Grow
What You'll Need
-
4x 15L AutoPots or similar
-
NEW Organic compost or living soil
-
DankDust Master Starter
-
DankDust Big Blooms
-
Water (preferably dechlorinated)
🌱 Vegetative Growth
Start weekly top dressings of Master Starter from week 3 after transplant (or 4 from seed).
Use 30g per 15L pot, gently worked into the top few inches - avoid burying deep.
Water the supermix in from above using a standard watering can rose.
🍃 Pro Tip: Use DankDust Mega Mulch on top to encourage microbial activity!
🌸 Flowering Stage
-
On flip day, apply Big Blooms at 15g per 15L pot. Repeat weekly.
-
Lightly mix into the top 2 inches of soil and water well from above with rose.
-
Resume plain watering only – Big Blooms will feed 4x 15L pots for 8+ weeks.
🍯 Terpene boost: Big Blooms supermix is high in minerals and organic inputs that boost essential oils and aromas. Expect rich, sticky flowers!
💦 Soft or Hard Water?
Tap water that is "soft" means it's natually low in minerals <50ppm. Using CalMag RockDust is highly recommended for soft and RO water to avoid deficiencies.
On the other hand, just because you water is "hard" doesn't mean it contains Calcium or Magnesium. If you get the tell tale signs of yellowing between leaf veins, curling/parachuting leaf tips, and brown spots on leaves apply CalMag RockDust for an organic treatment.
🥥 Using in Coco Coir
Coco by itself is inert – but we can fix that for you!
To prime your Coco mix 30g of Master Starter + 30g of Bio Boost Buffer per 15L pot of Coco, evenly throughout. Water thoroughly and allow to settle 24-48 hours before transplanting.
Start weekly top dressings as above thereafter but with Bio Boost Buffer also.
